At Hotel Ruby Sandpoint | Ponderay, we know your dog isn’t just a pet. They’re family. That’s why we’ve made it easy and fun to bring them along for adventures in Sandpoint, from lake walks to the mountain trails.

Our Dog Policy at a Glance
2 Dogs Per Room
We welcome up to 2 dogs in each room. (No cats, please - we're all about those tail-waggers!)
Pet Fee
Just $15 per dog, per night (max $45 per dog, per stay). We keep it affordable so more pups can join the fun.
Form Required
A quick pet form at check-in (download it below) or grab one at the front desk.
Important Note
Please let us know about your pup when booking. Undisclosed pets incur a $200 fee (we'd rather greet them with wags than paperwork!).
A Few Guidelines for Happy Tails & Happy Neighbors
- Keep your dog leashed in all public areas (safety first!)
- Dogs must be well-behaved, vaccinated, and non-aggressive
- Never leave your pup unattended in the room or vehicle
- Clean up after your pup (we have poop bags at the front desk)
- No excessive barking – let’s keep the peace for everyone
- Bring a kennel/crate if briefly leaving them in the room – it’s required for their safety
- Guests are responsible for any damages (although we hope it’s all belly rubs and no messes!)
- Please note: Dogs are not permitted in our Microhomes
